Natasha Patterson, Ed.S, NCC, LPC
This is my 9th year as a school counselor and my 5th year working in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Before counseling I was a classroom teacher for 5 years. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I soon realized I wanted to impact student achievement in a very different way so I continued my education by earning my Master of Education degree in School Counseling from Georgia State University and later, my Specialist in Counseling & Supervision from the University of West Georgia. I enjoy working with and inspiring children; I look forward to a wonderful and rewarding school year at Newell Elementary School!
